Germ and potential
Kachtíková, Michaela ; Houser, Milan (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with topics such as presence, perception of corporeality and oneself appear in the context of the process of creation of a work. The evolving themes reflect subjective present vision and fascination with materiality, in order to achieve sustainable art and life. It asks questions of aesthetic - philosophical nature. What is the relationship between art and sustainability, the relationship between work, its creator, and objects? The work that was created is a material artifact, a record of being in the past and in the present. It is like a record arc, a photograph of a given reality, created to understand the past in the future. It is a reflection of the inner nakedness, internal processes, inner emotions and thoughts which shape the inner aspects of the psyche, expand into space, crawl, fill, and have their own distinctive life.

Title: Mirroring in a linear perspective Author: Kateřina Marková Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Jana Hromadová, Ph.D., Department of Mathematics Edu- cation Abstract: This text is intended especially for teachers and students of high schools and colleges who are interested in descriptive geometry. The thesis on the topic of mirroring in linear perspective presupposes basic knowledge of linear perspective. It includes short introduction into the topic of linear perspective and its basic terms, explanation of the principle of mirroring and clarification of constructions that are needed to solve tasks. Main part of the thesis is a problem book with solution. It contains examples on the topic of mirroring in linear perspective for all the basic mirror positions. Every task is supplied with step-by-step solution in the GeoGebra software and a PDF file. Another part of the thesis are photographs of different mirror positions in real life situations. Keywords: Linear perspective, mirroring, vertical, horizontal, sloping mirror

The myth of Narcissus has probably been one of the oldest myths in European culture. In its most renowned and most comprehensive form, the myth first appeared in the third book of Metamorphoses by Ovid, which has served as an inspiration for remakes by many later authors. The story of a young man who fell in love with his own reflection on the surface of the water contains a great variety of semantically strong structures (mainly the motifs of a mirror, narcissistic love, passively superior character of a hero, or the final metamorphoses into a flower), which are analysed in this study. The author of this study outlines the interpretational evolution of the myth of Narcissus in French literary history...
